Global marketing showcased across 30 hour work day

Here’s an interesting idea for those managing global brands and worldwide marketing teams…

The brainchild of IBM Geography Marketing lead Caroline Taylor, IBM marketing, communications and citizenship teams across the globe are today participating in a marathon video conference showcasing their best work.

Spanning a 30-hour working day*, 23 country teams stretching westward from Auckland to San Francisco will “follow the sun” sharing their best practices and campaigns with their global colleagues.

Members of my team in Dubai, Cairo, Nairobi and Johannesburg will take center stage as the sun traverses the Middle East and Africa time zones.


* Footnote: 6 hours longer than the standard 24 hour day thanks to international time zones.
